To shop with us, you must have completed memi jewellery’s registration process. Upon registration, you will be asked to choose a password. Please keep it secret, as you are entirely responsible if you do not maintain its confidentiality. You are also entirely responsible for all activities that occur under your user ID and password. By shopping on this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by our terms and conditions.
If memi jewellery reasonably believes that you are providing untrue, inaccurate or incomplete information, we may choose to suspend or terminate your user ID. Memi Jewellery will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your password.
Memi Jewellery is personalized jewellery. No stock is kept on hand. Each piece of Jewellery is made especially for you, our valued customer.
Memi Jewellery shall take all reasonable efforts to indicate accurate prices and delivery charges. However, should products be erroneously offered at incorrect prices and/or delivery charges, memi jewellery will not be obliged to sell products at such incorrect prices and/or delivery charges, and shall only be liable to refund monies paid should you not wish to proceed with the purchase at the correct price and/or delivery charge.
PLACING OF ORDERS
Any orders that you place will be by way of transaction via the memi jewellery website.
You can pay with Master, Visa, Diners Club or American Express credit cards.
Authority for payment is given at the time of order, followed by a debit once the order has been redeemed. All prices include VAT and delivery charges, unless otherwise stipulated. You can also pay via direct deposit (via cash or cheque) or Internet transfer into our bank account, after which your deposit slip must be emailed or faxed through as proof of payment with your order number as reference. Please note that orders paid for via direct deposit or Internet transfer are subject to a 3 working day clearing policy and the order will only be manufactured thereafter.
Deliveries will only be made to the delivery address selected on checkout, and only to physical addresses. We do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
RAM Couriers will deliver during business hours (8am – 5pm) on weekdays and will not call beforehand to arrange a time for delivery. If no-one is on hand at the time of delivery, they will attempt again the following day. Thereafter the parcel will be redirected to memi jewellery, who will then contact the customer to clarify delivery details. In such a case, a redelivery fee may be charged at our discretion.
For main city centres, please allow 24 – 48 hours’ turnaround time for delivery from the date of dispatch.
For outlying areas, please allow 48 – 72 hours’ turnaround time for delivery from the date of dispatch.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Since memi jewellery is personalised and made especially for you, items may be returned only when defective, damaged or if the product supplied is not the same product as what was ordered.
Should you wish to return an item due to a manufacturing defect, please notify our customer service department on [email protected] to receive a Return Authorization number.
Items with a manufacturing defect and a return authorization code may be returned within 60 working days of the date of receipt. Please notify our customer service department [email protected], who will inform you of the procedure to return the item.
Items received that have been damaged by a cause other than a manufacturing defect, may be repaired at a fee which will be communicated to you prior to commencing with the repair work, alternatively returned to you at the cost of regular shipping charges.
Although we will offer you the best service we possibly can, we make no promise that our online shopping services will entirely meet your requirements, or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error free.
Apart from the provisions of sections 43(5) and 43(6) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, neither memi jewellery nor any of its agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use this website, the services or the content provided from and through this website.
Furthermore, memi jewellery makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that, amongst others, the content and technology available from this website are free from errors or omissions, or that the service will be 100% uninterrupted and error free. Users are encouraged to report any possible malfunctions and errors to us by logging them to [email protected]
This website is supplied on an "as is" basis and has not been compiled or supplied to meet the user's individual requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the user to satisfy itself prior to entering into this agreement with memi jewellery that the service available from and through this website will meet the user's individual requirements and be compatible with the user's hardware and/or software.

If memi jewellery is informed of any inaccuracies in the material on the online shopping service it will attempt to correct the inaccuracies as soon as it reasonably can.
This agreement is subject to the laws of South Africa and the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Courts.
